There is this prompt that does the rounds that tells you to blog using the alphabet as your guide. Each letter becomes a blog. I decided that as a challenge, this would be good to get me blogging every day.
T = time
I could have gone for truth or trust, but time seems to be more appropriate today.
We always think we have so much of it. We procrastinate and wait for the right moment. Naturally there is never a right moment. More often than not things pass us by and we are left wondering why we did not take that first step.
Sometimes, and I have found this on my own journey, the first step is easy. So are all the rest until I am about 5 steps away from completion. That is when I falter. I can see the end result, I can almost taste the success, and I stop and wait and procrastinate.
We spend so much time chasing elusive thoughts and ideas, that we forget about what is right in front of us. We are so focused on something we are doing nothing to achieve, that what we do achieve is lost.
Time waits for no one – a cliche but an apt one. At no stage can we ask the world to stop rotating, for time to freeze. We either use this moment or lose it forever.
